Our process

How we work your claim.

Five steps from first call to final settlement. We carry the work; you stay focused on your property and family.

Licensed public adjuster documenting property damage at a Florida home
1

Free Claim Review

We start with a no-cost evaluation of your policy and your loss. You owe us nothing for this conversation, and you decide whether to engage us afterward.

What we do
Review your policy, examine the damage, identify covered causes of loss, and explain how we'd approach the claim.
What you do
Share documents, photos, and a description of the loss. That's it.
Typical timeframe
Same day to 48 hours.
2

Sign & File

Once retained, we file the claim correctly the first time — or take over a claim already in motion with your carrier.

What we do
Prepare and submit the formal claim, draft the notice of loss, and serve as the single point of contact with the carrier going forward.
What you do
Sign the engagement letter and let us handle communication with the carrier.
Typical timeframe
1–3 business days.
3

Document the Loss

Strong claims are built on documentation. We construct a complete record of damages, scope, and policy entitlement.

What we do
Conduct full-property inspection, build line-item scope and estimate, retain experts (engineers, hygienists, contractors) where the loss requires it, and prepare the proof of loss.
What you do
Provide access to the property and answer occasional clarifying questions.
Typical timeframe
1–4 weeks depending on scope.
4

Negotiate

We engage the carrier's adjuster directly with documented scope and policy interpretation. You stay out of the back-and-forth.

What we do
Respond to reservation-of-rights letters, rebut underpayments, supplement the claim as new damage surfaces, and escalate where appropriate.
What you do
Stay informed through our updates. No carrier calls or emails.
Typical timeframe
30–120 days, varies by claim.
5

Settle

When the settlement is reached, funds are released directly to you. Our fee is paid out of the recovery — capped under Florida law.

What we do
Confirm payment, reconcile the settlement statement, and remain available for any post-settlement supplements.
What you do
Receive the settlement and use it to make your property whole.
Typical timeframe
Funds typically issued within 20 days of settlement.

Florida law caps public adjuster fees at 20% of the recovery on standard claims and 10% on emergency/declared-disaster claims under F.S. 626.854. Timelines vary by claim and carrier responsiveness.

Don't settle for less than your policy owes you.

Free, no-obligation claim review. We only get paid when you do.
